细胞培养与作物品种改良

植物细胞培养技术用于作物品种改良有巨大潜势。本文着重叙述生产同一性植物或诱导变异性。可从许多外植体繁殖植株，包括叶、花药、茎尖分生组织，甚至游离单细胞和原生质体。另一方法可建成愈伤组织或液体细胞悬浮培养体。当与常规作物改良规划相结合，细胞培养技术适用于1．离体培养繁殖，2．分生组织培养以消除病毒，3．次生产物合成，4．花药培养产生单倍体，和5．通过细胞或分子遗传学产生新品种。
